In 2025, TAPPS was approached by a dear friend and colleague about the possibility of starting an expansionary chapter in Flagstaff, AZ. Kevin Tague, trumpet professor at Northern Arizona University, is passionate about our mission and thought that he could further that mission there. We quickly embraced this idea and empowered Kevin to get things moving.
Enlisting help from another top trumpeter in the area, ‘Taps’ began being sounded for nearly 60 fallen Veterans throughout 2025.
The Flagstaff area is rich with culture, beauty, and spirit. It contains a thriving Veteran population and we couldn’t be more grateful for the opportunity to honor them for their service and sacrifice to our country.
Stay tuned to this page to learn more about the latest happening with our Flagstaff Chapter as we begin to expand our team there. Media about Kevin, how the chapter was formed, what they’ve accomplished, and how you can help their efforts will all be coming soon
Sunday, April 19th at 2pm, TAPPS Flagstaff will host a concert at the Coconino Center for the Arts located at 2300 N Fort Valley Rd, Flagstaff, AZ 86001.
